Very Large 19th Century Two Gallon 'Haystack' Copper Measure, English circa 1820

A very large two gallon copper haystack-shaped measure / ale pitcher of dovetailed construction, rising to a flaring and elongated spout inset with its lead seal noting volume, maker etc. The body fitted with a riveted handle and raised overall upon a flaring circular foot.

Dimensions: 12.5" high x 14" wide (including handle) x 12" diameter at base.
