Edmond Louis Dupain studied art at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Bordeaux under the direction of Alexandre Cabanel and with Jean Marie Oscar-Gue. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes and later received the Medaille a l'Exposition Universelle.

Please note this work is being offered un-framed and in ‘as found condition’, having an obvious foundation issue - specifically a split to the lower portion of the panel, which if necessary could be addressed by our museum trained conservator pending approval & acceptance of a complimentary estimate.
