A fine lakeview landscape by noted Canadian landscape artist Thomas Harold Beament.

Oil on artists board, signed bottom left, titled verso & again on the stretcher.

Thomas Harold Beament (1898-1984) is considered as one of Canada's best figurative & landscape artists. He was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy (RCA) in 1946 and became President of the Royal Canadian Academy (PRCA) in 1964 until 1967. 

His work is represented in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada, The Dominion Archives, The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts & The Museum of the Province of Quebec.
