An original double-sided leaf from Gratian’s ‘Decretum Aureum’ printed at Lyon France in 1511 by Nicholas de Benedictis. Showing double columns with commentaries & side notes. Gratian was a monk at the monastery of St. Felix at Bologna and considered to be the founder of Canon Law. Dimensions, 8” high x 6” wide. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
