An exceptionally fine 19th century bureau a' cylindre in mahogany,

tulipwood and kingwood. A marble topped bank of four ormolu banded drawers surmounts a retracting domed front housing an interior fitted with a pull-out writing surface and a theatre of both functional and false drawers. Raised on amaranth banded supports. French. Circa 1890. Dimensions, Height - 48.5", Width - 51.5", Depth - 24.5".
