An Exceptionally Fine 18th Century Hepplewhite Period Mahogany Serving Table, English Circa 1790

 

The expansive bow fronted top over a conforming frieze fitted with a trio of small drawers flanked on both ends by deep drawers, all with cock-beaded drawer fronts, satinwood stringing & original bail handled brasses, with the exception of the oval brasses on the far right & left drawer-fronts. Raised overall atop six squared & tapering supports decorated with penned paterae terminating to spade feet. Dimensions, 37” high x 78” long x 28” deep.
