Watercolours on paper, recently mounted on archival acid free materials and set within its vintage teak frame. Dimensions, (sight) 18.5” high x 22.5” wide, (framed) 26” high x 29.5” wide.

 

Batuan School artists have always worked without western influences in terms of composition & content. Artists working in the Batun style tend to incorporate human beings going about their daily lives amid mythological & spiritual beings, monsters, demons, and all manner of malevolent creatures, all compounded in densely forested jungle strata.
