An Early 19th Century Pocket Snuff Box in Burl Birch, England Circa 1820

A very charming early 19th century Georgian pocket snuff box in richly figured burl birch, the case inlaid with ebony stringing & an ebony shield-shaped cartouche, the lid opening on wooden hinges to a grained interior. The exterior exhibiting a fine mellow patina overall. English, Circa 1820.
