An Antique French Brass Carriage Clock of British Military Interest, Dated 1918
The brass & glass panelled case housing an 8 day movement, the white enamel face with Roman numerals and blued sweep hands. The top engraved with the following dedication ‘PRESENTED TO MAJOR G.A. HEATHER FROM OFFICERS OF LONDON R.G.A., GREAT BENTLEY 18/02/18’. Retaining its original monogrammed travelling case & key. Clock dimensions, 4.75” x 3.25”. Case dimension, 5.25” x 4”.
In very good working order, some crazing to the enamelled face, the carrying case distressed.
