An 18th Century George III Inlaid Mahogany Writing Table / Sofa Table, England Circa 1775

A very handsome Georgian writing table / sofa table showing a richly figured solid mahogany top above an inlaid frieze fitted with twin drawers retaining their original brasses, raised overall upon four slender satinwood strung supports terminating to cuffed feet. Of very accommodating proportions and exhibiting exceptional colour and a mellow patina overall, some minor conservation carried out consistent with its age & use. Dimensions, 30.75” high x 38.5” wide x 19.5” deep.
