Oil on canvas, measuring 35.5” x 25.25” (sight) set in a contemporary giltwood frame. Signed & dated ‘89 bottom left. Alexander Sacha Putov was a Russian expressionist painter, sculptor & engraver who studied under Matveevich Michael Schwartzman (1926-1997), then moved to Paris in 1980 where he joined the ‘Art Cloche Group’. His work has been exhibited at galleries in several European countries as well as in Israel and North America.
