A Very Good Regency Period Egyptian Revival Hall Mirror, England Circa 1820

 

The cream painted frame showing an overhanging, gilded architectural cornice surmounting a panel decorated with an applied gilded anthemion motif, flanked on either side by gilded capitals in the form of sphinx heads, mounted atop gilded columns terminating to feet shaped supports. Dimensions, 40” high x 27.5” wide x 4.5” deep.
