A Very Good George IV Sterling Silver Brandy Warmer by Barnard & Sons, London 1830

A fine Georgian sterling silver brandy warmer having a very substantial bowl with a lipped spout, fitted to its original turned ebony handle, the underside of the bowl bearing London hallmarks and date marks for 1830, together with partially rubbed makers marks for the highly regarded London firm of Silversmiths - Barnard & Sons; Edward, Edward Jr., John & William Barnard. Dimensions, 6" high (to the handle), height of the bowl is 3 1/8" high, x 5” diameter, combined weight is 374 grams.
