A Very Fine Mid 18th Century Sterling Silver Gravy Boat, London 1761

The generously proportioned bellied body decorated with foliate embossed motifs and a blank cartouche and affixed with a foliate cast double-scrolled handle. Raised overall on cabriole supports descending from shell shaped knees that terminate to pad feet, the underside bearing London hallmarks with date letter for 1761 and makers marks for Walter Brind.

Dimensions, 5” high x 7.5” long x 4” wide. Weight, 360 grams.
