A Very Fine Chinese Export Silver and White Jadeite Snuff Box, Circa 1850

The hinged case constructed of twin jade panels set within silver mounts engraved with running flower-head designs, the top carved with a stylized dragon in low relief. No visible makers marks.

Probably Shanghai. Dimensions, 3” x 2” x .5”
