Showing a finely carved ebony figure of a recumbent ram with a shaggy coat, its front legs tucked beneath. Demonstrating finely rendered proportions & features, its eyes inset with horn cabochon pupils, the underside naturalistically carved & signed in red characters within a medallion. Exhibiting exceptional graining & colour with a fine patina overall.
