A Rare George I Sterling Silver Rat-Tail Marrow Scoop, Hallmarked London 1721

A rare George I sterling silver marrow scoop, showing an elongated bowl at either end of the flattened stem - the underside of the larger bowl showing 'rat tail' detail. The underside of the stem impressed with London hallmarks, date mark for 1712 and partially rubbed makers marks for William Spackman (working 1712 - 1726). Weight, 40 grams. Length, 8.5”.
