A Most Unusual Anthropomorphically Inspired Brutalist Bronze Vide Poche, Circa 1920, Austrian or French

The anthropomorphic figure with outstretched arms encompassing two recessed wells.
The brutalist facial features appear somewhat primate-based, however the musculature of the shoulders observed on the reverse appear more humanistic in form.
Previously affixed to what would likely have been a marble plinth base.
Dimensions, 2.5” high x 5.5” wide x 3.5” deep. Weight, 2lbs. 20z.
