A George III Tilt Top Tea Table / Wine Table in Figured Mahogany, England Circa 1800

The rectangular top is constructed from one remarkably wide board of solid figured mahogany, affixed with a tilting mechanism atop a finely turned vase shaped single column, raised on three arched supports braced from underneath with their original iron strapwork mounts. In very good overall condition with only minor conservation to the tilting mechanism, the very old surface exhibiting a fine old & mellow patina overall.
