A Fine & Rare George III Silver Nutmeg Grater by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1800

The segmented oval body fitted with removable lids, one covering its original grate the other covering the spice compartment. The interior of one lid bearing impressed hallmarks, date marks & makers marks.

Dimensions, .75” high x 1.25” wide x 1” deep

Samuel Pemberton is one of the most recognized and sought after British silversmiths of ‘small-works’ i.e., nutmeg graters, patch boxes etc., of the 19th century.
