A Fine Pair of ‘Shaft & Globe’ Cut Glass Decanters, England Circa 1880
A very handsome matched pair of 19th century cut glass decanters, showing necks with both navette & scalloped vertical cut flutes, over bodies decorated with alternating bands of star cut motifs & scalloped flutes, their undersides with incised star cut detail. Both in fine overall condition and retain their original & dedicated hollow-blown stoppers having a few very minor flakes on their stems consistent with their age & use. Height, 12.5”
