    A Fine 19th Century Rosewood, Kingwood & Part Ebonized Music Box, Swiss Circa 1870
    The richly figured rosewood case showing kingwood crossbanded & satinwood strung detail, the hinged top inlaid with marquetry detail of classical motifs in exotic woods, opening to an ebonized interior fitted with a hinged kingwood framed glass dust-cover overtop a hand cranked musical cylinder mechanism playing six melodies. Raised overall upon four ebonized bracket supports.
    Dimensions, 8” high x 25” wide x 12.5” deep.
    Although apparently unsigned this fine instrument was most likely manufactured by the firm of Baptiste-Antoine Bremond, Geneva.
