A Fine 18th Century Sterling Silver Sugar Basket by Noted British Silversmith Robert Hennell the 1st (1741-1811)

The reeded swing-handle affixed to a scalloped body engraved with bright-cut decoration, the interior finished in a richly gilded wash, raised overall atop a waisted stem on a conforming scalloped foot.

Hallmarked London, 1791. Length: 7” Width: 4”. Weight: 7.48 oz.
