A Chinese Blue & White Minyao “Peoples Wares” Porcelain Bowl, Chongzhen Reign (1627-1644)

 

The central field showing a medallion of overlapping petal motifs radiating out to an auspicious Chou character (twisted peach tree) & lotus blossom designs, interspersed by undulating linear & flower blossom designs. The underside showing a rough foot rim, centred by a cobalt underglaze shop mark within double rings. Dimensions, 1.75” high x 7.75” diameter.
