A BOOK OF HOURS, OF THE USE OF UTRECHT

 

An original double-sided manuscript from A Book of Hours, printed in Dutch on vellum in the Netherlands circa 1450-1490. The work was executed in Bastarda script in black ink, which is a hybrid of the Medieval Gothic, with extensive use of one line Uncial initials in red & blue, plus two-line Uncial initials in colours. This work is relatively unusual being a non-Latin work.

Measuring 5.75” high x 4.25” wide. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
