A 19th Century ‘Newcastle’ Pillar Glass Decanter, England Circa 1870

The ribbed body with an inverted cup shaped shoulder rising to a double ringed neck with a flaring rim fitted with its original conforming stopper, the underside showing a concave polished pontil mark.
