A very good quality 19th century brass fire fender decorated with a repeating band of incised scrolled motifs, retaining its original sheet metal floor intended for the hearths interior, gently cleaned & polished, retaining much of its original surface & patina. Dimensions, 40.25” wide x 2.75” high x 14” deep.
